The Beast Is Still Alive plot
This political documentary is about the search for the ideal communism and how it is not found in practice. It begins with the secret police reports of the grandfather of a young Bulgarian woman. He was a sympathizer of the socialists in 1920s Bulgaria, but after seeing the damage done by the communist party during World War II, he joined the insurgent Goryani group in the Bulgarian mountains.
