The Battle for Rome plot

This miniseries tells the story of the rise and fall of ancient Rome, through six major turning points in history. How the greed, lust and ambition of men like Caesar, Nero and Constantine shaped the Roman Empire. The series describes how Rome destroyed Carthage, was conquered by Caesar, suppressed the Jewish revolt and converted to Christianity. The series deals with how the Empire came to be, how it reached the pinnacle of its power and why it eventually fell.
