Five middle-aged women have transitioned from active military service to civilian life after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. There they suffered an unimaginable trauma. Now they are forming a joint organization to help the rising number of stranded homeless female veterans. They do so by entering into a competition that catalyzes unexpectedly gripping events from their own lives, to come full circle in a quest for healing and hope.
