Resources plot

The meat industry in Quebec, Canada, is thriving. Huge factories with standardized production methods process large quantities of livestock into meat. Asylum seekers, mainly from Latin America, are hired to steer those processes in the right direction for a competitive price. This observational documentary focuses on both groups; parallel lives that will intersect in the factories. The newcomers are filmed during conversations with a community organization that acts as an intermediary between worker and factory.
