Paul Williams Still Alive plot
In the 1970s, Paul Williams was a singer, actor and songwriter. Every emotionally estranged boy around the world wanted to be him, a sex symbol even before MTV, when those same stars were allowed to be five feet tall and sang songs about loneliness with the Muppets. One of those guys was Steve Kessler, a chubby boy from Queens. Thirty years later, Kessler had discovered something extraordinary: Paul Williams was still alive and no one had tried to make a documentary about him. He went in search of the man behind hits by The Carpenters and Barbra Streisand.
