Thieves like Us plot

"Robbing 36 banks was easy. Watch what happens when they hit the 37th."

Bowie (Carradine) escaped from a Mississippi prison in the 1930s along with half-Indian Chicamaw and the limping T-Dub. Together with Keechie (Duvall), whose father helped with the escape, they go from town to town to rob. When the criminals decide to split up for the next heist after several missteps, Bowie is injured and is left with Keechie, but justice draws closer.
