Obyknovennyy Fashizm plot
Mikhail Romm, director and narrator of this documentary, examines the nature and origin of National Socialism in 16 chapters. He opens with universal drawings and reflections of childhood and parenthood. Romm also discusses the message of Hitler's book Mein Kampf, the author, his childhood and political development. He watches the newsreels of the 1920s and 1930s, moves on to the "culture" and "art" of the Third Reich, followed by the cult of the Führer, which resulted in the willing cooperation of millions of people in unspeakable crimes.
