My Brother's Bomber plot
Filmmaker Ken Dornstein lost his brother in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21, 1988, which killed 270 people. His search for the accomplices in the attack leads to a breakthrough 27 years later. In 2001, after long litigation, Libyan Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was convicted of the Lockerbie attack. The loss of his brother has scarred Dornstein's life and when Megrahi is allowed to go home in 2009 by the Scottish government because he is said to have prostate cancer, Dornstein decides to start a new investigation.
