Minted plot

In 2021, a digital artwork sells for $69 million at Christie's, sparking a hype around Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). NFTs allow digital artworks to become exclusive property, opening up new opportunities for artists outside of traditional circuits. However, the NFT world also has its dark sides, such as fraud. The documentary highlights the rise, growth and crash of NFTs and investigates whether art has increasingly become an investment object as a result.
