“Loving Vincent: The Impossible Dream” describes the 8-year journey from concept to Oscar nomination for the first feature film made from oil paintings. Co-directors Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman lead an international team of 125 painters to bring more than 70 of Vincent van Gogh's own paintings to life. In this way they manage to tell the story of his turbulent life and mysterious death.
