Løvekvinnene plot

Since the 1979 revolution, Sharia has ruled Iran and women have been oppressed, persecuted and discriminated against. Lion Women tells the story of the Iranian women's movement and its fight for democracy and human rights, culminating in the bloody suppression of protests by hundreds of thousands of Iranian citizens against the controversial presidential election, which the opposition says were won by fraud by current President Ahmadinejad.
