Las Flores de la Nouche plot

A group of young Mexican transgender and gay men who call themselves 'Las flores de la noche' are followed. In their conservative, village-like environment, they try both to gain a place in the community and to hold on to their often hard-won identity. While most of them keep the hair long and the skirts short, Uriel always wears pants and his hair is shaved. As a dance instructor, he tries to prepare stiff-necked teenagers for real life. From his ecclesiastical community, Uriel follows the controversial conversion therapy, aimed at the cure of his homosexuality. That doesn't stop him from spending a lot of time with his girlfriends.
