La Mafia Non È Più Quella di una Volta plot
In Palermo, the mafia murders of investigating judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino are still commemorated every year, although the commemoration seems to be mainly an event for opportunistic politicians and the festive parade does little justice to the seriousness of the original crimes. Director Franco Maresco speaks to one of the people who is deeply annoyed by this: the internationally renowned photographer Letizia Battaglia, who for years documented the atrocities of the mafia. At the other end of the spectrum, he follows Ciccio Mira, organizer of third-rate musical performances by Sicilian folk singers.
