Documentary about the growing idea in some scientific environments that plants also have consciousness. In recent years, a new field of research has emerged in biology: plant neurobiology. Scientists have found that the boundaries between the animal and plant kingdoms are much more blurred than commonly believed. Plants also appear to be able to develop cognitive processes. They can perceive their surroundings and 'remember' information provided by those perceptions. They can also respond to that. Some plants, such as South African acacias, can even communicate with each other and defend themselves against attackers. If plants can perceive and communicate, could they also think?
