L'Amour Fou plot
When 21-year-old Yves Saint Laurent meets Pierre Bergé in the late 1950s, he finds the man of his life. The timid boy has just been put in charge of the failing fashion house Dior and knows how to draw the world's attention with his groundbreaking designs. Dior becomes a top brand again and soon the two lovers start their own business. This is the start of a dazzling career, Yves St. Laurent and Pierre Bergé are turning the world upside down. Surrounded by hectic and glamour, a life filled with friends like Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol, steeped in beauty and art, but also drugs and bitter melancholy. In 2008, after the death of Yves, Pierre decides to part with their joint art collection that they had built up with so much passion. In doing so, he reveals the fruits of their permanent search for beauty and seduction.
