In 1972, Ibrahim Hoti undertook the hajj, the spiritual pilgrimage to Mecca. On the way back, his bus made an unscheduled stop at Baghdad's busy bazaar, where he bought gifts for his family. Within a day of returning to Kosovo, Hoti started feeling feverish. The fever then led to a rash. Compiled entirely from archive footage and narrated by the crystal-clear memory of Dr. Zoran Radovanović, this documentary reports from start to finish on the terrifying outbreak of smallpox in Yugoslavia.
