I Promessi Sposi plot

We follow individual stories of the days leading up to a wedding. Each main character represents a fundamental aspect of marriage. In addition to the couples who want to make their vows, we meet Don Emilio, a Catholic priest, who in the course of the nuptial lessons combines trust and science, penance and regulation, sacraments and sexuality.
