Het Laatste Woord plot

The Dutch Jurriën ten Cate from Almelo married the Tunisian Marwa in 2013. Shortly after the wedding day, however, things go wrong; Marwa takes a fatal fall from their hotel room balcony. After a shadowy trial, Jurriën is sentenced to twenty years in prison for the murder of his brand new wife. He himself claims to be innocent. What happened that fatal evening between Christmas and New Year 2013 in that hotel room in Tunisian Hammamet? Filmmaker Jessica Villerius takes a critical look at Jurriën's conviction.
