"I'm not a politician, I'm just like you," is the slogan Gretchen tells her audience. After thirty years as queen of the swinging hips, the singer, who is famous in her own country, thinks it is time for a career switch and is running for mayor of the Brazilian island of Itamaraca. The makers follow her during her last tour as an artist and during her first election campaign. Artistry is on the wane for Gretchen.
