Ger, Mijn Hoofd in Eigen Hand plot

Ger, now 64, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at a young age in 2010. Despite the fact that - strangely enough - Ger has a form where there is less amnesia, his life has been completely confused since then. He has to say goodbye to his job, his relationship ends after 30 years and he is initially forced to live with his ex-partner and his current boyfriend. Eventually he has to sell his two houses and ends up in a care institution.
