Earth Keepers plot

Eco-activist Mikael Rioux from Trois-Pistoles, Québec wants to learn how to create support for a sustainable way of life in his own community. Instead of fighting the local government any longer, the young father strives for a more constructive approach. Inspired by his mentor Christian de Laet, an old hand in the environmental movement, Rioux travels the world. He learns his light from De Laet's kindred spirits in, among other places, poor India and rich and progressive Sweden. The problem is clear: a crisis awaits us. Leaving the car parked every now and then is not nearly enough to avert an environmental disaster. Earth Keepers shows that there is still room for sustainable action, if we are willing to switch.
