De Wereld van Puck plot

Director Gert-Jan de Vries has been filming his family for over twenty years. A family where, after a healthy son, they look forward with great joy to the arrival of a brother or sister. When daughter Puck is born during a normal delivery, everyone feels an eerie feeling. Something is wrong with her, but what? Only after nine months does a shocked pediatrician make the diagnosis: Puck is severely handicapped. From the pregnancy, Gert-Jan films his wife, sons and daughter. Unable to speak, the family interviews each other about the struggles and tensions that come with Puck's arrival.
