Crazy Like They Are plot
In “Crazy Like They Are”, American filmmaker Cameron Pearson explores his motives for continuing to film his declining grandmother against her will. He films how his grandmother slowly but surely becomes more and more needy because of Parkinson's disease and how she becomes isolated and how she starts to get on his mother's nerves and his own. Pearson alternates the home video scenes with homemade clips, fragments from his television career as a presenter and old family films. His own life is reviewed, because he suspects that his unfeeling way of filming has something to do with his inner dissatisfaction.
