Burroughs: The Movie plot

William S. Burroughs, known for the cult book Naked Lunch, was one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. This documentary features a rare look at Burroughs as he publicly reads from his own work at Manchester's Hacienda club. In addition, a number of examples of Burroughs as an experimental filmmaker can be seen, with the short films "Ghosts At Number 9" and "Towers Open Fire".
