Beirut fi Ain Al-Assifa plot

Four progressive women document the uprising in Beirut in October 2019: journalist Hanine, Iraqi camerawoman Lujain and sisters Noel and Michelle, two artists whose often ironic songs are one of the voices of their generation. There is a sense of hope, of change. A few months later, the city is in lockdown due to the corona crisis and all optimism seems to have gone.
