Aghdgoma plot

"The disintegration of the Soviet Union is the greatest crime of the twentieth century." Vladimir Putin has said this several times, and some of Gori's residents agree wholeheartedly. In Stalin's Georgian birthplace, they muse about a return to the time when the dictator was firmly in control. These inveterate Stalinists are therefore shocked when the city council has the statue of their hero removed. In their attempts to restore it, they come into conflict with another Stalinist party, which presents itself as the true guardian of Stalin's ideas and tolerates no one else besides it.
