9500 Liberty plot
Depictions of the events in Prince Willam County in Virginia where a strict immigration law was enacted, forerunner in many places in the United States where such a law is now being decided. Right-wing Americans in particular were annoyed by the large Mexican population growth and, according to them, the nuisance involved. The law meant that police officers could arrest Latinos for investigation without any reason. The result has been a drama for the local economy and we see lawsuits and gatherings of residents on both sides of the spectrum discussing the topic.
