A twelve-month adventure for Constanza, Kwasi, Eduardo and Nairika, who are guests in Germany as exchange students. It is also a twelve-month adventure for the host families. From the moment the camera rolls, it has been the trusted friend of both the students and the German host parents. They share joy, sorrow and experiences with the camera. In this intense year there is hope and disappointment, new insights and emotions on both sides. '12 Months Germany' is seen through the eyes of the exchange students and takes a whole new look at Germany and in particular the 'institute' family.
