"The Oddest Couple Ever Unleashed!"
Agent Scott Turner has three days to go before he will be transferred to the big city for the "real" work. When old Amos Reed is murdered, Scott throws himself into the case. The only witness is Reed's dog Hooch. Scott must take care of the dog to prevent them from putting the dog to sleep.

After the news that there will be a series, I watched the film again.
It may be largely youth sentiment, but this is still a fun film.
Hooch is a great dog and Tom Hanks (in his younger days) is the funny victim of Hooch's pranks.
I am curious about the series. Hopefully they can find the right tone in terms of humor and interplay between actor and dog.

Nice studio film by the book with a Tom Hanks who already showed to be a good actor. The story is extremely predictable, but the chemistry between Hanks and Hooch makes up for it.
