The Sabarmati Report plot

Cameraman Samar Kumar works as a news reporter for EBT News, while Manika Rajpurohit is one of the top news anchors for the same channel. After an incident in the Sabarmati Express train, Manika travels to Godhra to cover the news while Samar accompanies her as a cameraman. At the scene of the disaster, Samar and Manika see blood everywhere and burnt bodies being pulled out of the train. Manika covers the tragedy, which was caused by local riots between two religious groups. She asks Samar to reach Delhi with the news for the channel's office. But Samar discovers something is not right and visits some of the survivors. He finds a completely different story about the incident.
