This one was in the library and I also brought it with me. It was an intriguing film with a great cast, especially the main character brought the strange character very well. I almost didn't recognize Helen Hunt.

The story itself was not boring and was worth seeing.

Easy thriller.

The fact nevertheless sounds quite reasonable to squeeze out an entertaining but short film. Cristofer may clearly try to make it something bigger than necessary, but does not get any further than hooking up with all kinds of chewed-up subjects that are not exactly worked out in a refreshing way here.

The pull of the film must clearly come from Sheridan, who with his character is unique and distinctive enough to still hold the attention. I do wonder how his character ever ended up on this job, but nevertheless he does have a certain appeal. Nevertheless, De Armas's charm is somewhat stronger, although that is not so difficult for her personally.

The problem of the film lies mainly in the lack of atmosphere, tension and direction. At no point does Cristofer do anything fun with his camera, but the scenes themselves are also presented cold and bare. For someone with more than 20 years of experience in his field, this looks boring. It doesn't help that the film never manages to be atmospheric or innovative in the material it presents.

Perhaps the mystery side will still manage to hook some viewers, but in the meantime these types of films are actually not that special in today's film world. It simply does not undertake enough to be really interesting in one area. With little connection to the characters and a sloppy storyline, there is little to keep raising the level. Points for the acting and some reasonable twists, but that's where it ends.
