Potosí plot

The story is set in the state of San Luis Potosí, north of Mexico City, and follows two couples. Ponce and Veronica have a 10-year-old daughter and have to work hard to get by financially. Javier and Estela are the other couple, they also have a daughter. Estela works in an office; at home she is humiliated by her husband. The brutal violence of murders and kidnappings in Mexico spares no one and so the two couples are also confronted with that violence.
