"Courage is knowing what not to fear"
A police officer responds to a violent hostage situation. In doing so, he kills the African-American suspect. He later learns that the suspect was innocent. However, he thinks this was a premeditated plan and is facing the consequences. Now he must track down the person responsible as he examines his own responsibility and the entrenched racism that has led him to this point.
