Who Was That Lady? plot
"A light-hearted leer at love among the adults!"
David Wilson (Tony Curtis) is a university professor who is caught by his wife Ann (Janet Leigh), who sees him kissing one of his students. When Ann demands a divorce, David seeks help from an old friend, Michael Haney (Dean Martin), a television writer, who then makes up a story. They convince Ann that David works as a secret agent for the FBI and that the kissing is part of a concocted plan. The good-hearted Ann believes him. When she later sees David and Michael with two women in a restaurant, she suspects the women of spying for the Russians. However, her reaction is filmed by a TV news crew, after which real Russian spies believe that David is really an FBI agent.
