The Killing of Sister George plot
"The story of three consenting adults in the privacy of their own home."
Actress June lives with her beloved Childie. She has been playing a cheerful district nurse on a soap opera for years. When her part is written out of the series, the only job she can get is to do a cow's voice for a children's program. She is completely upset when her naive friend Childie has an affair with a TV producer.
