Wake Up Sid plot
Sid (Ranbir Kapoor) often hangs out with his two best friends, Rishi and Laxmi, talks little to his mother Sarita and has no appreciation for his father, Ram Mehra, and the wealth he has worked hard for. Despite all these qualities, Sid is an honest boy: sweet, funny and above all a good friend. Aisha Bannerjee, a wannabe writer from Calcutta, soon finds out when her path crosses with Sid's on her first day in Mumbai. Aisha starts her life in Mumbai with the help of Sid and his gang and together they experience a summer full of parties until the early morning and days of endless hours of idleness. A series of events and circumstances require Sid to take a good look at himself. Ultimately, the question is whether Sid will find out what he has to do in his life.
