Jodhaa Akbar plot
"Love knows no religion."
16th century love story about the marriage between an emperor and princess from two different peoples who managed to achieve unity between the peoples in this way. The successful Emperor Akbar had conquered a gigantic empire in the north of the Indian subcontinent. The Muslim Akbar was also out to gain the friendship of the influential Hindu people the Rajputs and for that he married the Hindu princess Jodhaa. In order to win Jodhaa's love, Akbar tries to reconcile the two religions in the midst of all kinds of intrigue.
