"A grand saga of timeless love."

Devdas and Paro have been very close since childhood. The love between them continues to grow, even though fate has determined (among other things due to class differences) that they can never see each other again. Paro marries another man and Devdas befriends alcohol and a prostitute who in turn has all the men at her feet. However, she can never win the heart of Devdas. Devdas wants to see Paro one more time.....
