"You always meet such interesting people!"
Gary Ainsworth will do anything to prevent his ultra-jealous bride Geraldine from discovering that he gave Mabel Essington lingerie as a gift that he had a slipper with. Complications follow when others catch wind of Gary's "misstep" with Mabel. Gary now has to stay one step ahead of his wife and Mabel even two steps. Mabel wants everything to be made public in connection with her impending second marriage.
