"A comedy About Friends, Family and Fish."
A baker from a working-class neighborhood in north Dublin who was fired just before the World Cup kicks off is not going to give up. He converts an old van into a fish & chip stand. During the football fever, the moving fast food joint turns out to be a gold mine. He enlists soul mate Barry to lend a hand, but the van becomes a stumbling block to their friendship.

Great comedy by Frears. A large part of the film we are snickering.
Brendan, nicknamed Bimbo, has lost his job and is feeling down. Together with his best friend Larry, a chronically unemployed person, they decide to start a burger cart. From then on, the little man's big adventure begins and it becomes laughter.
Especially Colm Meaney as the loud Larry jumps off the screen but actually you see that everyone enjoys it. I didn't think the ending was successful and leaves too many questions open about the future of the two friends.
