The Rocky Horror Picture Show plot

"A different set of jaws"

On their way back from a wedding party, Brad and Janet find themselves in a strangely inhospitable area. They get caught in a terrible rainstorm, get lost and get a flat tire. Fortunately, there is a castle nearby: Frankenstein Castle. This is where Doctor Frank-N-Furter and his friends, from a transsexual planet in the Transylvanian galaxy, have settled in.

And crawling on the planet's face

some insects, called the human race

lost in time, lost is space... and meaning

Amazing cult musical with a great Curry and beautiful catchy songs. Funny, fresh, bizarre, and even moving at the end. Very gay? Perhaps. But then my 1st gay experience was a very pleasant one

4.5*!

Iconic movie! I usually watch it every year because it never gets boring. The songs are catchy and Tim Curry is always a joy to watch.

When I thought of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I always thought of those ten great minutes in which the songs Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite follow one another. Two extremely memorable songs. The first is a song where sitting still is impossible - even our criminologist jumps on the table - and the second is a song where the legend Tim Curry waltzes onto the stage and attracts all the attention when he opens his throat. What a wonderful guy and what a phenomenal role. Still, I have to say that apart from those two songs, I couldn't remember much of Rocky Horror. Was there anything else fun to do?

The answer is yes, but I think the big highlight has been with Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite. Which doesn't mean there aren't more fun scenes to follow; Meat Loaf who comes out of nowhere from a freezer with his motorcycle, a buttery horny Tim Curry who tries to get people into bed and Professor Dr. Everett V. Scott (A Rival Scientist), who will dance and sing along (“Und I did”). A lot of very nice craziness, although towards the final I did notice that the film is a bit slow. Partly because you have no idea where the film is going and the most random things can happen, you as a viewer are often looking for what we can expect next. Gradually the climax I was quite exhausted. Exhausted, but satisfied. And pull in a cigarette.

4 stars.
