The President's Analyst plot
"Only two people on earth want Sidney Schaefer alive. Sidney Schaefer. And the President of the United States."
One of his patients tells the psychiatrist that he has been chosen to be the analyst to the President of the United States. He is very proud, but finds that his whole life is defined by the new position and that he is used as a plaything between the President, the CIA and the FBI. He resigns, but it's not that easy to get away from their influence.
