The Medicine Man plot
Mamie and Buddy are the daughter and son of the cruel and violent shopkeeper Goltz. Both are thrilled when Dr. John Harvey to their city. But when they sneak out at night to watch the medicine show, their father finds out and he punishes them severely for it. Then, when the angry Goltz decides that his daughter Mamie must marry against her will, she enlists the help of Dr. John Harvey.
