City for Conquest plot

Truck driver Danny Kenny (James Cagney) makes a career as a boxer. At his peak, he is blinded by gloves dipped in acid. Physically and visually handicapped, he becomes the owner of a newspaper kiosk. With the money he earns, he supports his brother Kennedy, who wants to make it as a musician.
