The Count plot
The tailor's handyman burns an earl's pants while ironing and is fired. The tailor discovers that the Count has been invited to dinner, but he can't. Secretly he dresses up as the count and takes his place. The fired handyman also ends up at the house where the dinner is taking place and falls for the cook. However, he must fight off other suitors, including the butler and a police officer.
