Stankowskis Millionen plot

The 'Treuhand' was an institution that had to privatize the GDR companies according to the principles of the market economy. If this was not possible, it had to be closed. In practice, subsidies were embezzled and many companies were closed. Unemployed Stankowski has left his wife for a doctor from the west. But his luck does not last long: by accident he is offered a job by the Treuhand. There he decides to play Ossi's and Wessi's against each other...
