"The most feared monsters in cinematic history have met their match..."
On Halloween night, video store clerk Stan and his buddies are still at work. Videos have to be delivered in a deserted California town. Arriving in town, Stan discovers that things are not right. The town is demonized by horror characters Fweddy, Mason, Needlehead, Lucky, Michael Criers and Pleatherface. Stan and his friends will have to act as a savior in this.

Pretty good.
Finally a fun daring comedy. Scary Movie itself was decent, not great but not bad either. This was a lot better then. Bold jokes that did their thing right. Unfortunately, things like this that are slightly different are not appreciated on moviemeter, just look at revenge of the nerds. Also a wonderful comedy that gets dug into the ground from one to the other. Superficial bullshit movies without any humor in them do well.
As a horror fan I have enjoyed all the ''monsters'' they have incorporated into the film. A number of classics returned such as Pinhead. By the way, this last one was finished very original. Nice jokes that do their thing well, like the ice hockey goalkeeper.
Sometimes unfortunately still a bit too low-budget. Chucky, for example, comes out very badly because of this. I understand that there is no high Hollywood amount for these kinds of films, although I sometimes find it a shame.
Acting was decent, not the best actors but they all did a decent job.
Nice comedy with daring jokes.

Surprisingly,
I went into the movie with low expectations due to the average here. But secretly I can also appreciate high parody films. I liked this one better than all the Scary Movie movies put together. Perhaps also because the real horror legends participate in this, but also because of the fun characters, jokes and music. I was therefore disappointed that this movie was over so quickly.
