Ramji Rao Speaking plot

Balakrishnan comes to town to apply for a job at the company his father worked for. However, Rani gets the job, after which a disappointed Balakrishnan runs off and takes shelter in the house of Mannar Mathai, a failed theater actor. The unemployed Gopalakrishnan also lives there. The three men drown their problems and wait for an opportunity to make money. Then they get a call from kidnapper Ramji Rao. Rao demands a ransom for a boy he kidnapped, unaware that he dialed the wrong phone number. The three try to strike a blow to get money out of this situation.
