Paul Dood is a 40-year-old aspiring entertainer who lives at home with his mother Julie. She is his biggest fan and also his only fan. But he's convinced he has what it takes to become a star, and to go well beyond his job in a London thrift store and posting barely-watched videos on the Trend Ladder social media app. He is determined to win the big national talent show hosted by online celebrity Jack Tapp. But when he misses his audition at the hands of 5 selfish people, he sets out for deadly revenge.
