The introverted Uwe Hinrichs sees himself as the last true East Frisian and makes this clear to the outside world by only speaking Low German. He is not interested in what is going on outside his small world. Globalization is a foreign word to him. But then part of Uwe's house is sublet and foreign workers are accommodated in it.
